I LOOKED SLOWLY UPWARDS AT THE MARBLE PEDESTAL….

YOUR MARBLE BODY TOOK AWAY MY SENSES, AND I KNEW THAT I MUST NO LONGER LISTEN TO YOUR WHISPERING VOICE AROUND ME.

THIS GENTLE SOUND THE WIND HAD READ FROM YOUR MOTIONLESS LIPS. YOUR EMPTY EYES SOUGHT IN DISTANCE, AND YET I FELT YOUR PLEADING LOOK, AND DID NOT KNOW WHETHER IT WAS THE HEAT OF THE SUN OR THE HEAT OF YOUR LOOK THAT WAS BURNING MY SKIN. CALMLY YOU LET YOUR NAKEDNESS ITS WAY WITH ME, AND YOU DID NOT EVEN KNOW THAT NO GOOD HAD EVER CREATED SUCH A PERFECT BODY, NOR HAD SUCH PERFECT PERSON EVER LIVED. IN YOUR BODY OF STONE THERE WAS A SOUL THAT SENT FORTH A PULSATING LIFE. HOW MANY CENTURIES HAD THIS BEAUTY WAITED TO BE RESURRECTED? HOW MANY PEOPLE HAD ALREADY SEEN YOU, AND YET NOT FELT THE LIFE WITHIN YOU? ….

I APPROACHED YOU, UNAPPROACHABLE ONE, AND THE GENTLE, GLASS BOTTLE RESTING IN YOUR HAND. THE GLASS REFLECTED THE BRILLIANT LIGHT, AND THIS REFLECTION BROUGHT RADIANCE TO YOUR EYES, A SHINE RAN LIKE A PEARLY TEAR OVER THE WHITE VELVET OF YOUR SKIN. A FINE CRACK WENDED ITS WAY THOUGH THE GLASS OF THE BOTTLE. IT BROUGHT FORTH A SHIMMERING DROP WHICH SLIDE OVER YOUR WRIST, ONLY THEN TO FALL OFF. IT FELL…AND IN THIS SECOND WERE ETERNITY, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE AS ONE, AND I CLOSED MY EYES BECAUSE THIS CAPTIVATING FRAGRANCE OVERCAME ME. I BREATHED IN THIS MOMENT OF ETERNITY, … ETERNITY I GAVE THIS NAME TO: SCULPTURE …. THE MELODY OF DREAMS…THE POWER OF MYTHS. SCULPTURE … ELIXIR OF LIFE
